BOB SWAIN

Bob Swain began carving in 1985. Then, as now, his artistic philosophy was to honor both the subject and the medium. His shorebirds are sculptural, you can sense their power in the graceful curves. He burns the wood to give it a rich patina. Bob's carvings have been sold by Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor and can be found in many collections worldwide. Bob is also doing some work in bronze now.
